B. Braun to Share Expertise Through 'Lean Six Sigma for Medical Manufacturing' Seminar at MD&M East

Bethlehem, Pa. (PRWEB) June 5, 2007 -- "Improving Medical Device Manufacturing Processes - Some Case Studies" will be presented by Dave Arnold, senior quality engineer for B. Braun (www.bbrauoem.com), on Wednesday, June 13, 1 p.m. at MD&M East at the Jacob K. Javits Center, New York, as part of a two-day presentation entitled "Lean Six Sigma for Medical Manufacturing."

The program will focus on the need for active participation of people from all functions and levels within an organization to promote an atmosphere of continuous improvement. A total Lean Six Sigma approach to medical device manufacturing will be explored using case studies within the Pharmacy Business Unit at B. Braun Medical Inc.

Arnold has nearly three decades of experience in various technical and managerial positions within quality, manufacturing, engineering and R&D. He is an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and senior member of American Society for Quality.
