The World’s Largest Laser Therapy Clinic and Education Centre Presents a Seminar on Athletic Therapy and Sports Injuries
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) April 13, 2007 -- All athletes know the importance of recovering quickly from injuries. This is especially true for professional athletes as injuries can impact their salary and position on the team. For teams that are suffering with injured players, having a player return to action can be the difference between success and failure. Meditech International understands how healthy players contribute to overall team success.
On April 18, 2007, Meditech will be hosting a complimentary seminar on treating sports injuries with their BioFlex Low Intensity Laser Therapy system. Former Head Trainer of the Toronto Raptor’s, Chuck Mooney will be headlining this 1 hour seminar, speaking about his experience in treating athletes using the BioFlex system both as a professional trainer and in his own laser therapy clinic.
Slava Kim, Meditech’s Rehabilitation Centre’s Clinic Director will also be speaking at the seminar. Slava manages two Rehabilitation Centres, overseeing the administration of over 800 laser therapy treatments each week, treating conditions ranging from soft tissue and ligament injuries to rotator cuff problems and spinal stenosis.
The Meditech Athletic Therapy and Sports Injuries seminar will be held at 6:30pm on April 18th, at the Meditech Research & Education Centre in Toronto – Canada’s largest and most respected laser therapy education centre. Meditech’s BioFlex system is used by several professional sports teams, including the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat of the NBA. Other athletes treated by Meditech include players from the Minnesota Vikings, Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Maple Leafs, PGA golfers and track and field stars.
