Jan K. Wuorenma Joins American TeleCare, Inc. (ATI) as Vice President, Partner Development

Wuorenma, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A. has joined the company in the new position of vice president, partner development. Before joining ATI, Wuorenma was the director of sales and managed care business development for Honeywell HomMed, a telemonitoring manufacturer and division of Honeywell International. She has also served as vice president, health services at Evercare, a division of UnitedHeath Group that coordinates healthcare services for people who have long-term or advanced illnesses, are older or have disabilities. Wuorenma's 22 years with HealthPartners, an integrated care delivery system in Minnesota, culminated with her leadership positions as director of health promotion program development and delivery, HealthPartners Center for Health Promotion and senior director, disease management and medical management integration.

Wuorenma has delivered presentations at numerous healthcare conferences since 1993, and she has contributed to articles published in journals such as the Archives of Internal Medicine and the New England Journal of Medicine. She currently serves on the editorial board of Telehealth World.

Wuorenma holds a bachelor's of nursing degree from Viterbo College, LaCrosse, Wisc. She earned a master's of business administration, with a concentration in healthcare administration, at the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis, Minn.
