Previous to joining Symmetricom in 2006, Dr. Stein was the founder, president and CEO of Timing Solutions Corporation. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of time and frequency and has made numerous individual contributions to precision time measurement technology and new time transfer techniques. He received his doctorate in physics from Stanford University in 1974.

Designed for managers, scientists, engineers and educators involved in the use of time and frequency systems, the seminar presents techniques related to the analysis and evaluation of oscillators and frequency standards. It is particularly appropriate for those responsible for certification of oscillator performance at levels where traceability to national standards is a useful part of this certification.
